Land For Good (LFG) is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to serve as our Program and Administrative Coordinator.
The Program and Administrative Coordinator plays a central role in the organization, coordinating key aspects of our program activities, and managing the systems that support them. This position reports to the Executive Director and will work closely with the Program Director and Communications and Field teams.
We need a technology-forward team member to provide critical program and administrative support to a high functioning team of ag service providers and our (largely) “virtual” office. This customer service-oriented position requires communicating with farmers, landowners and agricultural professionals throughout New England. This is a unique opportunity to be an integral and indispensable part of a team that is working on an urgent and critical issue facing farmers, rural communities and our food system: accessing and passing on farms and farmland.
The Program and Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating key aspects of our program activities, and managing the physical and digital aspects of our core operations. Primary responsibilities include:
- Responding to inquiries from farmers, landowners and allied agencies
- Managing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
- Managing monitoring and evaluation systems for internal tracking, client satisfaction, and program outcomes and impacts
- Supporting our use of the G Suite (Google apps) for Non-profits – and other team collaboration tools
The successful candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, administrative and program support experience, and skills in using technology to support remote work, collaboration and service delivery. The ideal candidate will take pride finding new ways to help our team work more effectively and efficiently. Experience in managing databases, familiarity with the Google suite of applications, and superb organizational skills are required. A combination of professional experience and education in agriculture, community organizing, farming and food systems, or related field(s) is desired.
The Program and Administrative Coordinator must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with target audiences, the public and our team across the region.
