2018 Farmland Access Conference request for proposals due August 20

The upcoming Farmland Access Conference is the largest conference in the region focused solely on land access. We invite submissions from across New England.

Maine Farmland Trust and Land For Good are excited to again co-host the 4th annual Farmland Access Conference on December 3, 2018 in Augusta, Maine. Last year’s conference drew 130 farmers, policymakers, service providers, and advocates, and featured key notes by New England farming champion and US Representative, Chellie Pingree, and Maine Agriculture Commissioner, Walter Whitcomb.

Your successes, program models, or case studies from across New England are of great interest.

Please find more information and use this Request for Proposals (RFP) to submit for consideration. A committee will review proposals and invite presentations.

Proposals will be accepted through Monday, August 20.

Please share this RFP announcement with anyone else who you think would like to share knowledge and experiences with our diverse audience of farm seekers, farm owners, and ag. service providers.

The issues, strategies and skills shared at this conference have relevance far beyond Maine.

Email Shemariah Blum-Evitts, Program Director, or Abby Sadauckas, Maine Field Agent, if you have any questions about the conference.
